In the race with the CAHSRA to be the most wasteful gold plated and costly heavy rail system in the US, BARTD has opted for spending an additional $3 billion to go from Diridon to Santa Clara stadium duplicating Caltrain service... Heckuva a job...

To paraphrase old Abe Lincoln... "Government of the contractors, by the contractors, and for the contractors shall not perish..." Not at BARTD or CAHSRA, that's for sure....
