Passenger rail has always been a political football.

Maybe the Republican party should consider a new tactic: Have Brightline submit business plans to take over some Amtrak corridors? I'd be interested in seeing that myself. We might even get new train service from Chicago to other Midwestern cities. Cool indeed!
