Their collection is primarily logging locomotives from the immediate area Ed. Also included are 3T Shay 33 which worked for years @ Hammond Lbr. before going to Pickering and lasting in steam until 1963 (there was also a Directors Special for Fibreboard bigwigs in 1965). She is back home now. Pacific Lbr. 2-6-2 29, Hammond Lbr. 2-8-2 15, the aforementioned 2T dieselized Heisler are others. Arcata and Mad River 2T Shay 7 might be in that bunch too. This group is also supposed to have title to Pacific Lbr. 2-8-2T 37.
The Samoa Cookhouse is a noted North Coast tourist stop and lies just across the Bay from Eureka. The engine house is out near there.
