I'm a little surprised that nobody here has mentioned that Pacific Lumber 37, which had been stored on the Wilmington and Northern in Delaware after a spotty career in tourist service in Pennsylvania since the 1960s, has been moved to the Strasburg RR shop for restoration. Based on the report I saw in Railpace, it appears that total costs for this will be in the half million dollar range, with maybe $60,000 raised currently. The intent is to have the loco operate on tourist trains in the Eureka area. I had been skeptical at first, but it sounds like the organization is substantial.
