It was a double edge sword. It ran because of Anschutz and his VP connection with the UP and has stopped running for the same reason. The delays due to the poor dispatching took a toll on the patronage. Four hours to go 65 miles? You can drive it even in bad traffic and snow in less than two hours. Nice train, but everything with Anschutz concerns the buck, just like Trump.
