Another once great American corporation wrecked by incompetence and mismanagement?
The greatest danger to once great American corporations these days seems to come from their own greedy and incompetent corporate management. Today, these are too often hired by hedge fund managers, not to make planes, or operate railroads, or make steel, but who only know how to make excuses, while cutting costs and raising short term stock prices, for quarterly bonus's and stock options...
Boeing door failures and train wrecks in Palestine Ohio seem these days, to be caused by the same kind of short term business calculus, without any real regard for the future profitability or survival of these companies...
