I didn't say in all cases. Just this one.

To be clear, SMART ridership to/from Novato is projected to
be so small that station location IN THIS CASE shouldn't
make much difference either way. My guess is that the
station at Ignacio would generate more ridership than Hamilton,
but so what? Based on SMART's numbers it might make a difference
of 20 riders/day? This difference is so small it's below
any projection error in the model.
