Mare Island Railroad to reopen

As read in the Vallejo Times Herald today May 9 a railcar repair facility from France will be opening a car repair facility on Mare Island. They have a contract to repair the Capitol Correidor equipment and will be repoening the rail connection to Cal Northern at Flosden. They are finacialy responsible for the rail line but it has not been stated if freight sevice will be provivded or if only Amtrak cars will be moved over the line.
