She really did her homework here, so thoroughly researched
For decades, travelers have been praying for a more pleasant way to get from LA to San Francisco. Hope once lay in the California High-Speed Rail project, authorized in 2008, which still maintains its promise to get people from place to place in under three hours. But as of 2024, that project only just completed its first phase of construction and won’t be finished until 2030 at the earliest.
Yeah, she apparently did her "homework" better than some folks who can't "read".
Did you even bother to read the part you cut and pasted?
She actually reported nothing whatsoever about LA to SF CAHSR being completed by 2030.
Given the track record, we may all have reasonable doubts about even getting from Merced to Bakersfield by 2030, but this story said nothing about CAHSRA getting anyone from LA to SF by 2030.
But your subject title is completely false.
As to this claim she reported by the promoters, of having an overnight luxury "pullman" train operating between LA and SF via the Coast Line by Summer 2025, it seems to be pretty optimistic/dubious claim.
And what is the follow up question on this claim I would have asked these folks?
Where exactly are these folks getting all of these luxury sleeper cars needed for this proposed new luxury train coming from, in the next 7 months, to start operations by "Summer 2025"?
