Placerville line continues to lose

Another section of the old Placerville line has been paved over for pedestrian use. This from Placerville west to almost to the Town of El Dorado. They are currently rehabbing the bridge over Weber Creek to accommodate foot traffic.

I haven't heard lately any new plans to revive excursion service up from Folsom. I think this dream may not happen.
