The joint powers people have given a contract to a company to extend the bike trail across Weber creek bridge which is just west of Placerville into Diamond Springs. The narrow gauge group at the fairgrounds is pulling up the rail in the old Diamond Springs Caldor yard. This rail will be moved down to El Dorado in the near future for a narrow gauge operation. This would be 3 rail track at ElDorado joint with the Folsom standard guage group????
