Wow ... they have been talking about running an excursion train from Folsom for years, and years! I used to work for Crystal Cream and Butter Company in the late '60s and they were kicking the idea around then. But then ... the rails to Apple Hill were still a viable consideration too.

One excellent chance for the excursion train is that it could operate on the current old SP line to Sacto, and/or up to P'ville. 'Twood be a great run either way. :)
