Well said. Misery loves company, and there are lots of folks out there who "hate the job/company" and will curse everything under the sun, yet they won't quit because "it's a good job". I experienced the same sort of thing when I was on active duty in the Navy, and I still hear it from the "active duty" side when I go on my ATs. If they've got a problem with your hobby, just press on; they don't have the right to tell you what to do with your off time or to make you just as miserable as they've made themselves. Do your job well and don't be afraid to enjoy it; if they don't like it, that's their problem and not yours.
