I have a friend who works for LA DWP
And they constantly battle thieves so stupid to steal grounding and sometimes live wire right off the poles and sub stations.
Costing hundreds of thousands in replacement, repairs and loss of power and time to customers (and millions in lawsuits if they get killed) for just a few hundred dollars of profit
Most of that stolen property will be sent out of the country never to be seen again
Hope you get the items back, but in this liberal "coddle the criminal" society I doubt you will
