Slow Down Development

A lot of these large industrial spaces and former military bases near cities are being rushed to development. Sometimes they are pushed by overzealous developers and backed by city council members keen on tax revenue from the businesses... Breaks my heart to see so much planned for these large parcels that usually have an adverse effect on the businesses close by.
What about the future?
The Yards next to the Locomotive Works would be an excellent open space with the future of Sacramento growing and becoming more dense in the next 100 years. So much for the future...
