Back to the discussion. Ernest, I'm not sure you understand. In your last message, you detailed your personal accomplishments at length. While nothing to poke fun at, for the sake of a Safety discussion, they mean nothing. This isn't a job interview or a journalism awards ceremony. You chose to write on a subject that, by your own admission, is extremely important. I agree one hundred percent.

Doesn't matter how many years you've been in the business, the number of articles you've had published, who you know, who you've interviewed.

This is a life or death topic.

What you do or don't publish could influence a person's mortality. You have a responsibility as a journalist to ensure your book offers thorough yet concise truths.

So when the day comes to publish a new edition, I ask that you take into consideration the objections I presented yesterday.
