I'll start with the vehicle train shot. It's a good shot, that has a lot of interest in the entire frame, from the waterfalls to the train/bridge to the sky. The only perhaps negative, perhaps not, thing about it is that I have see this same shot from this same location a lot before. It's just one of those popular places, but that doesn't diminish the quality of the photo.
The grain train shot is my favorite of the two. The portrait format really emphasizes the vertical drop and power of the falls. The train has now become a small player is a much bigger world. It is refreshing to see a diffrent view of an old spot. The one downside is that you can't see more of the bridge, but without having been there my self, I don't know if it is possible to get more of the bridge in the frame from this angle.
