J. Mann has some good points here. NCRA has three Daylight coaches rotting away on the mainline south of Scotia. THA also has an SP heavy weight stored outside at the former Arcata Redwood Mill. With all the steam power finally under cover at Samoa, all the locomotive moves of late, the Strasburg restoration of PL #37, where are they getting the resources to do this stuff in Humboldt County? Outside storage for any of these cars on the Samoa Peninsula is not good, but I guess the original GGRM site wasn't much better. The V&T Commission has been under pressure to get rid of these coaches for some time. One can only wish the coaches and THA the best of luck with their plans and dealing with the Harbor District to get a permanent museum site so all this stuff can be saved and restored.
