OK, a little out of region, but here goes...
My wife "surprised" me this week with a trip to Orlando. Gonna be there a full week.
Yeah, Disney World, and the other touristy things are a given, but we've decided to rent a car, and go South to Key West for part of the trip.
My question is: Is there anything railfan to do there? I have no idea the amount of rail traffic on what lines, and whether CSX's "A" or "C" line is better to photograph. I'm looking for help please. The only thing that I will try to drive beside is the longest tangent rails in the USA, just North of Lake Okeechobee. I remember a magazine article in the late '70s about it.
Restaurants, and "non-toursty" tidbits welcome as well.
Thanks in advance,
almo
