Mr. Boyd brought up a good point by mentioning the wooden caboose @ Niles Canyon...this is number 30. I lived in it for about a year when I first worked for Std. Oil in Richmond and was active @ Castro Point.
There were two sisters up in Del Norte County that were used on the Klamath & Hoppow Valley RR. owned by Gus Peterson. They were the normal consist behind Heisler 10. I wonder what became of them after the railroad folded in the mid 70's?
