Right. I think on Ch. 32 (?) at Calwa you can pick up the cop channel real clear. Then, further north around Sharon, sometimes the Calaveras County Sheriffs' Dept. can be heard.

We also have a real problem with using Ch. 17 as intructed at Richmond yard, but the rumor mill has it that the company says they can't get FCC permission to use anything else, as all other options are spoken for.

Question: How does a frequency become outdated or obsolete?
