page 2: Mr. Hill had a soft spot for station gardens. Visit Everett; any others left?
pages 3 and #4: Pleased to see a part of the engine service facilities. An acquaintance of mine was was raised in Sky. Father was shop foreman. Later, assigned to K. Falls. (After the fans were added at Berne?)
page 6: The pan appears to be riding on the contact wire with the pull-offs: Note one to the right of the pantograph hinge.
page 8: The trolley wire is the same size as the Seattle trolley coach system, except hard-drawn copper.
page 9: Note the steam-generator car. Did any of these survive for other services?
The pole spacing was dictated by the overhead contact system around the curve.
page 10: The overhead contact system continued to Appleyard
In several photos, note the three-phase line connecting Appleyard and Skykomish; allowing GN to temporarily loose their commercial feed at either end.
