The latest I've heard is that SLRG and C&TS may try to coordinate their runs as best as possible so passengers can switch from trains pulled by 1744 to the C&TS trains and vice versa. There was a similar attempt to coordinate schedules last year, but things didn't quite work out. Too bad none of the DRGW Pacifics or standard gauge Ten-Wheelers that used to make the run to Alamosa and Antonito were preserved; it'd be nice to have one of those on the point, just like the old days. I'm not complaining, though, not if I'm able to see an Espee Atlantic under steam.
