I don't think it has anything to do with Drew being perfect. Our society has changed a great deal in 44 years. We now have stupid people being greatly financially rewarded by stupid juries for doing stupid things and taking no responsibility for their own actions. We now have greedy lawyers teaming up with these stupid people so they can also rip off society in general. Back in 66 doubtful if Drew hurt himself that there would have been lawyers willing to support a law suit. Today if people do stupid things like climb on top of locomotives and fall off they get huge settlements for doing dumb things. Pretty sad statement on where our country is today.
