Excellent work, Darren! Question: where is the power plant that uses the coal? Also, of related interest, the BNSF Boron Local switches out Rich Spur (the old mainline before Edwards AFB was built) two or three times a week with covered hoppers of Soda Ash (I believe) that is trucked from Searles. Apparently, the UP is not interested in interchanging loaded hoppers at Mojave with the BNSF, and so there is continuous flow of bulk loader trucks driving between Boron and Searles just to load the cars.
