I love the speculation!

UP is not going to give up the FRC to the BNSF or anyone else. Once the economy returns to something like normal it will be slow but not sold. Come on, does anyone think that with todays rules and train size that Donner will be the jewel that everyone thinks? Not. Anyway, as far as the Loyalton Branch, the UP does not want to get rid of it account of enviromental issues. But we have been trying to get it. Donner with 40 trains a day in 1960 was doeable, today, no way especially in the winter. My humble opinion.
