The UP spur that was removed would have come in handy to deliver fuel to Cenex as they now have the fuel contract for WSU and the new power plant has been burning quite a lot of diesel lately. Would have had some potential business. Also would have made a decent spot for WSDOT to take delivery of tank cars of that liquid de-icer that semi-after-semi delivers to the WSDOT shop just up the hill from this removed track. (a novel idea, WSDOT using their own railroad to save fuel and reduce pollution!!) W&I given any thought to moving these commodities?
