From what I recall reading in the BAERA "Review" quite a long time back was a problem with two major issues surrounding the planned new Substation in the Shiloh Road vicinity---
1. Solano County planners didn't like it for some reason.
2. Pacific Gas & Electric power company officials didn't like it either,
particularly in reference to having "proper grounding" in the overall design.
Hopefully, long time member "John Holt" (retired PG&E man) and his buddies, can persuade the
proper officials at PG&E and Solano County to take a "fresh" look at the proposal.
A new Substation is mandatory for any of the cars, but particularly beeded for the Key System Bridge Units, because they have a heavy starting current to get them moving.
