That makes me wonder about the Key System line between Woolsey and Ward Streets along Adeline. I recall the single track between those points, protected by signals at either end. That's the way it was in the 1950s for sure.

At some point, I suppose the Berkeley Key Route line was double track there. When would the second track have been removed?
