I don't think we need to be so paranoid to think that disgruntled railfans are involved in this. WVJ is a notorious place for graffiti and gang "markings". It is not patrolled or protected with any regularity so this is no surprise. The PV Silver Thrush was also moved to WVJ yesterday or the day before on its way to Salinas ,probably on Monday. I will bet that it will get its share of spray paint while parked there as well. Part of "the culture".
