I suppose that what was done to it could be considered more of an intent to damage. As I mentioned in a previous response, whomever did it was not overly knowledgeable about locomotives, as they were not successful.

I don't know whether they started it on Wednesday. I was told on Friday that its owners had determined the damage happened Wednesday night.
