On Friday afternoon I saw a man standing in the rain and fog along the AL tracks, out of the causeway, next to Hwy. 36. I was trying to figure out what he was doing there and at first I thought he was a Caltrans employee working on the wrong project. He had a flat-nose shovel and it looked like he was chopping weeds and small brush along the tracks. Sorry to hear that the AL is being removed.
