News is reporting a P&W worker was shot to death this morning:-

Eugene police investigating fatal shooting

Eugene police are investigating an early-morning homicide that left one man dead.

The shooting occurred near railroad tracks at West 2nd and Cleveland, and was reported at 4:47 a.m., police said.

Violent crimes detectives are on the scene. A 44-year-old man was found dead near the railroad tracks, police said.

Police are awaiting notification of the victim's family before releasing his name. No arrest has been made.
