A relative has suggested the PA's location is right at station Cajon. The cut in the near background is Route 66. I'm tending to agree with this, if you go there today, I think the only thing that would change in the scenery is no code line and the 15 freeway fill would be mostly eveident in the middle background. But, was this double tracked at that time? I would think that it was, but I couldn't say for sure.

As for the other trip I mentioned, RE: San Joaquin trip footage I've view actually beigns way up north, with the San Francisco Chief making its staiton stop at Stockton, then it's on to the SP at Merced, with clips passing the staions of Madera, a stop at Fresno, then passing Kingsburg, and finally rolling into B'filed with a full platform. It was the last San Joaquin, according to the can notes.
