I have been driving by this spot for years and I don’t remember seeing so much daylight between the rails while looking at the track from my car window. I figured this was from the foot traffic and the recent heavy rains and became concerned since this area has had a propensity for derailments. Based on your responses it does not sound like this condition is of any immediate concern.
