Wow, you captured my childhood. I would be waiting at the rope line in the Emporium lobby for the 0930 trumpet herold and the store opening. I rode those PCC's and they had a great gong to ring stopped cars out of the way. When the operator leaned on that gong it beat any horn. If you lived that era you saw a great period.. show us more. Thanks!
