Several years ago, corn was planted in the Los Angeles State Park and cut into a maze with paths. Maybe this is what the docents are thinking of/referring to? The most recent google maps imagery shows the park partially landscaped. If you back out a bit, it is interesting to see the old r-o-w which split off the Union Station lead. One lead swung northerly across N. Main St. and N. Spring St. into the Bullring yard.
