C&TS Lobato Trestle Update: complete replacement best option

Bad news on the Lobato Trestle, engineers now say that complete replacement is the best option for repairing the structure.

The Cumbres & Toltec has insurance on the trestle, but it has a $50,000 deductible and is limited to a total of $360,000, which is likely insufficient to cover the cost of a total replacement. For those wanting to donate to the cause, a separate trestle replacement account has been established through the friends of the C&TS.
