In theory the enclosed tanks on the V&T bathrooms are nice.

In practice, on a run about a month ago, by the time we were getting to the top of the hill, the bathroom was gross and stank up the front end of the car. I was sitting next to the conductor/narrator Jerry Barth, right at the front near the bathroom. Gross!

I recall being on a small commuter flight into St. Louis years ago, the bathroom tank was full, when we landed a little hard it shook everything up and made a big stink!

Funny how in environmentally over-conscious Europe, you can still see the tracks whizzing by through the toilet when you flush.
