As you drive on State Route 14 South from Mojave there are billboards one after another until you get to the LA/ Kern County line. South of there, the billboards are scarce to at least Lancaster but north of there there are lots!! At least out in the desert on Route 14, LA County does a pretty good job of keeping them away but Kern County doesn't care!
