Like I tell visitors at my "home road" when they ask about track extensions, "Every mile you build is a mile you have to maintain." And as far as a "speed trial" for 1005, the point is well taken, why endanger a project that took years and bushels of money? We should just be grateful that is runs at all. If someone has the key to Uncle Scrooge McDuck's 'money bin' and can finance hiring a contractor to restore more of the SN, please call WRM. Otherwise enjoy the ride and thank the volunteers who've made it possible.
