If anyone actually rides SMART to get from the northern hinterlands to San Francisco, transferring from the SMART train to the Golden Gate Transit route 101 bus, which is non-stop to SF, makes more sense than riding to a point where there is a half mile walk to a ferry boat. It won't stop in downtown Novato, so I could care less what the final destination is.
