The engine was at Rio Vista Jct. because at one time PLA was going to share the site with BAERA (I can only imagine what that would have been like!); as far as I know, it was the only piece of PLA equipment to be delivered there. While at Rio Vista Jct., the engine was know as the "Trashburner" because Bill Kluver frequently used its firebox to incinerate garbage.
