Eldorado National makes a number of transit style buses - I know of no fewer than three transit agencies local to me that uses their buses in city transit configuration (Cherriots, Yamhill County, SMART) (not to mention the Portland International Airport); while TriMet uses Eldorado National products as their paratransit vehicle.
The Axess and EZ-Rider II vehicles are very, very much line-haul transit vehicles; the Escort, Transmark and XHF are also line-haul vehicles but more commonly found in smaller communities.
There is overlap between the Eldorado National and Champion product lines in terms of the cutaway buses, but many smaller transit agencies do use cutaway buses for their regular routes and some larger agencies use them on shorter shuttle type routes.
