So there was a little bit of activity in Granite City, Illinois...

"Yesterday morning three train cars carrying ladles of molten lava left the tracks near the steel plant." per the local newspaper.

Interesting. Has the New Madras fault moved eastward from Missouri with appurtenant volcanic activity, or is US Steel's Granite City Works experimenting with alternative fuels?
