Yeah. I've seen plenty of strap steel flapping in the breeze as a train goes along, with nice sharp ends. I've seen a couple of doors on TOFC swinging open.

And I've seen two derailments happen (one medium speed, one very low speed), and the aftermath of a few others. (Both derailments were from a safe distance.) They're much more rare, but they really do some damage. I don't want to be lineside when a train derails doing even 30 MPH, let alone 60.
