Filleted Stack Train

About 5:15 p.m. Friday evening, while driving east along Sandy Boulevard in northeast Portland, I spotted a westbound Union Pacific intermodal train on the adjacent Kenton Line. I noticed that every container well was full, and also that it was entirely single level, without any stacked containers at all.

I'm curious as to whether this was just a coincidence or if UP is trying out some new method of operation.
