I have to separate things into 2 categories: 1. Too young (i.e. no transportation of my own or no RELIABLE-enough transportation to make the trip). 2. Too lazy and blew it.
Category one:
1. SP Monterey/Pacific Grove/Asilomar. (Family vacation every year at Asilomar. Saw the train every weekday. Never caught it along the bay near Cannery Row.)
2. MILW electric.
3. Pre-BN merger or BN early post-merger.
Category two:
1. Anything at all MILW (Didn't really think about this at all until after moving to the northwest almost 20 years ago).
2. Ex-SP&S Fish Lake-Pasco
3. Several Nor. Cal. SP Branchlines.
4. Several NW branchlines.
5. SP Modoc Line
6. SP Siskiyou Line.
7. SP Oregon Branchlines.
8. SP Lone Pine and Mina.
9. UP Idaho Branchlines.
10. (Now that it's gone,) More SP anything.
11. (Now that it's gone,) More ATSF anything.
12. (Now that it's gone,) More WP anything.
13. OR, WA, ID shortline logging.
