Go to Google Maps (or your favorite satellite terrestrial imager website) and search Lyoth, CA. You will see the new high-speed diamond at the crossing of CFNR and UPRR. Note the connector track off of the EE Tracy siding and follow it around the curve in a Northerly direction. You'll see the connection to the CFNR.
No way to skip the Tracy Sub. Trains off of the Oakland Sub would simply route to Tracy on the CFNR then via the Tracy Sub to Lathrop and around the wye Southbound down the Fresno Sub (or continue North from Lathrop to Roseville via Stockton).
You can follow all of this trackage on your favorite the satellite map website.
