Liberty St. Pittsburgh, PA August 1980
Pittsburgh Railways fleet of PCC's once numbered 666 but, by August of 1980 under Port Authority Transit, had dwindled to less than 100. By this time the had adopted some wild paint jobs such as #1713's Pittsburgh Steelers colors (wasn't 14 Bradshaw's number?) as it rumbled down Liberty St. with Pennsylvania Station in the left background.
Later development of a light rail system with underground lines in downtowm doomed the last of the street running and the last of the PCC's.
